Class of 2024: Karlie Jueden

Karlie Jueden is the 18 year old daughter of Kyla and Andy Jueden. Her first thought when she wakes up in the morning is how tired she is and how she wants to go back to bed. Karlie plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Western Governors University and to move out of her parent’s house. Her favorite class has been Introduction to Professional Education taught by Mrs. Nelson. Mrs. Strope assigned the career paper that was the most meaningful to Karlie. Homework excuses are not something that Karlie has had to worry about. Being a senior Karlie has found staying on task and hitting the deadlines for scholarships and all important college tasks. In 10 years Karlie hopes to be married, have a great job at a school (hopefully here at Creighton), and have kids. Karlie’s hero is her mom. “She is always there for me when I need her, and she does a lot for me and my siblings.” Advice that Karlie would like to give underclassmen is, “Stay on task and get your homework done on time.”
