Working...
I am very fortunate to be born and raised in the town of Creighton. Growing up on a family farm has taught me hard work, determination, and problem solving. I started school when I was 4 and graduated in the Creighton High School Class of 2007. While in high school, I worked hard to keep up my grades while still participating in extra curricular activities. As a teacher, I will encourage my students to do the same.
Additionally, I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree from Wayne State College. In four years, I learned a lot about not only math, but also the education field. While at WSC, I served as the math tutor for the learning center and participated in various activities. This college was a great fit for me. Due to the size, I was able to get to know my professors and not be afraid to ask for help. Also, I was able return home on weekends to help out on our farming operation. Currently I am enrolled at Chadron State College to recieve a masters degree in mathematics.
In 2014, I married Ryan Siecke. We live in rural Creighton and raise livestock. Additionally, we have horses, chickens, and a dog. We enjoy roping, along with attending rodeos and tractor pulls. Fishing, stacking bales, cutting hay, and simply being outdoors are just a few of the things I enjoy. Painting and sewing projects also make it on the list of my hobbies.
Currently, I teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Standards Math, and assist with the FFA Chapter. Furthermore, I am very excited to share my ideas and knowledge with the students at Creighton High School, but most of all I am eager to watch the kids progress and master new material.
