Creighton Wrestlers Take it All the Way to State

The Creighton wrestlers made their way to state wrestling in Omaha, Nebraska. The wrestlers competed Thursday night through Friday evening, but unfortunately did not make it to Saturday. Coach Trace Baasch stated, “I am very proud of these boys, not just the ones that made it to state but the whole team. It was unfortunate that we did not make it further, but I am still very proud of them.”
Jorgan Condon, sophomore, in weight class 157 went 1-2. Joseph Barnell, junior, in weight class 120 went 2-2. Jorgan Condon wrestled Thursday and Friday but unfortunately did not make it to Saturday. Joseph Barnell wrestled Thursday and Friday but unfortunately did not make it to Saturday.
The wrestlers had a very good season! With state wrestling taking place this last weekend, the season did come to an end. Good Job wrestlers! We’ll see you guys next season!
