The Creighton Track Team Compete at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invite

The Creighton Track team had a very good day in the Laurel Invite on Thursday, April 18th starting at 12:00pm. They all did very well competing with the other teams there!

The girls had a very good day! Olivia Kuhlman came out on top with pole vault while Aspen Fulton trailed her with a 2nd place finish. Later in the day, Olivia Kuhlman ran the 100 meter dash and placed 3rd. 

The boys had a very successful day as well and came out as Champions at the Laurel Invite! Owen Doerr placed 1st in the discus with a new PR of 148,7” and came out on top for shot put with a throw of 46’1” with that throw becoming his new PR. Taylor Nilson placed 1st in the 110 meter hurdles and also placed 2nd in pole vault with a PR of 11’, as well as placing 2nd in triple jump. Connor placed 2nd in the 1600 meter run as well. Placing 3rd was Braxton Eggerling in discus with a throw of 120’ becoming his new PR and throwing 44’ 1” in shot put and getting a new PR in that event as well. Karter Gragert placed 3rd in the long jump too! Lastly, James Fanning placed 5th in the 110 meter hurdles. 

Congratulations track and field competitors! They compete again at Creighton’s home meet on Tuesday, April 23rd with a start time of 1:30 P.M.
