The Lady Bulldogs Pull Off a Nail Biting Win at Home Conference Game

The basketball girls played Walthill on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Several of the girls on the team were high scorers; the lead scorer being senior Makayla Mitchell with 21 points. Senior Olivia Kuhlman and junior Brooke Fanta tied for second with 13 points. Freshman Jordyn Ebel had 7 points, followed by freshman Aspen Fulton with 9 points, and senior Jessica Hoffman with 3 points.

The girls had several rebounds, many assists, a few steals, and a couple blocks. Jordyn Ebel had 10 rebounds, followed by Brooke Fanta with 6 rebounds. Olivia Kuhlman and Brooke Fanta came to a tie again with 4 assists. Jessica Hoffman had 4 steals, followed by Olivia Kuhlman and Aspen Fulton with 2 steals. Olivia Kuhlman had 2 blocks and Jordyn Ebel had 1 block.

The game started out great with a score of 18-15 for the end of the first quarter, followed by the second quarter with 30-25. After the first half was over both teams took their halftime to figure out their final strategy to pull out a win. The third quarter ended with 46-34, and finally the fourth quarter ended with 63-55.

This was a great nail biting game for the girls basketball team coming out on top with the win. The girls will travel to Winnebago to play on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Good Luck Girls! Go Bulldogs!
