Creighton Runs Past Wakefield

On Friday, August 24th, the Creighton Dawgs opened their football season vs. Wakefield. In the first quarter, the Trojans scored first. But Zac Kliment and his mighty Bulldogs came barking back. Derek Wortman had an awesome return, making it down to Creighton's 20 yard line. Bryce caught a pass thrown from Brayden Zimmerer.( Zac Kliment went crazy after that.) The Dawgs then basically shut the Trojans down on offense. The Bulldogs are well coached and it showed Friday night. There were many fans at the game that got to watch an exciting show. Creighton's front line did a bang up job allowing the Bulldogs to put up over 350 yards on the ground.

The Bulldogs have a lot of work to do coming into this week because the Cyclones will be solid, as well.  Brayden Zimmerer quotes "They will be a tough, but basic team. We can handle them if we play well."

The final score was 62-38, making it Zac Kliment's first career win as a head coach. He is undefeated. Go Dawgs!
