CITIES ~ MR. NILSON'S SCIENCE CLASS
The 10th grade Biology class built Cell Cities to signify what the relationship between a city and the organelles of a cell. The Cell City was a five week project that students completed at home. They were given one sheet of poster board and a lot of information to begin their city building activities. The students then used various materials to design both 2-D and 3-D representations of the city that has the parts of a cell. This activity was designed to give students a real life comparison between the functions of the parts of a cell and the part of a city.
