Seniors Jenni Laflan and Josh Javorsky were selected as the February students of the month at Creighton High School.
Launch the media gallery 2 playerEach teacher may nominate a boy and a girl for the title. The nominations are based on grade levels, grade improvement and attitude. Their service to other students, involvement in school activities and the community are also considered. The school administration and office staff review the nominations submitted at the end of each month and determine the winners.
Area businesses contributing items to the program for the students are: The Hair Studio,haircuts; Shaffer's Mini Mart, pizza or sub sandwich; Gragert's, pop; Pronto, gift certificate; Dollar General, Gift Certificate; A Special Place, tanning; Midwest Bank, Creighton bucks and bag; Tilden Bank, included in a drawing for a $50 savings bond. Principal Jeff Jensen takes the students of the month out to lunch.
