All About Me....
I love teaching at Creighton Schools! We have the best teachers here and I love all the kids! I teach K-3 special education and I also do some guidance counseling in the classrooms. In addition, Mrs. Nelson and I teach the High Ability program together. For guidance, I go to the classrooms and talk to students about being drug free, having good friendship skills, and becoming a great leader! In the High Ability program, we focus on Math, Reading and Science. I have 2 great paras that help me out a ton! They also love working with kids!
I was born in Tennessee and moved to Plainview, Ne before my 8th grade year. I went to Northeast Community College and Wayne State College with a Bachelor's degree in K-12 Special Education. I received my Master's degree in K-12 Counseling from Wayne State College.
I have been teaching in Creighton for 16 years now and I love it!
My husband James and I have 3 children. We have twin girls and a boy. They keep us very busy but it sure is fun!
