Stacken Earns 4th at State Wrestling Tournament!

Levi Stacken places 4th at 195 at the State Tournament this weekend! Levi opened with a first period pin over Isaac Gomez of Minatare, then faced returning champion and eventual 3rd placer Preston Walker of Elm Creek, who finished 47-1, the loss coming by one point to the State Champ. With less than a minute to go Levi was down 3-2 and they were nuetral. Levi's hold slipped and he was pinned with 20 seconds left. Levi then pinned Bergan's Peyton Cone (25-19) in 2:30. He then faced 25-6 Jaden Rahn of GACC in the match for the medal. Levi dominated with a major decision, 13-4. Saturday morning he faced Mullen's . . .

Bulldogs with Key Wins Against Rival During Parents Night

    Great Parents' Night for the basketball players as both the boys and girls picked up wins over neighboring Plainview. The girls played one of their best games beating the Pirates 41-30. Ashtyn Fritz led the way with 16 points. Clarissa Becker scored 8, Sydney Walton had 7, Kasey Kuhl and Charlize Wilmes had 4 each, and Jordyn Kuhl had 2. Ashtyn had 13 rebounds and Kasey Kuhl and Jessica Stevens had 4 steals each.     The girls JV also won their 2 quarter game, 15-12. All 6 girls who played scored, led by Jessica Stevens with 4, Charlize Wilmes with 3, and Alaina Farnik, Kendall . . .

Three Bulldogs qualified for the State Wrestling tournament. Levi Stacken, Derek Wortman, and JD Kuhlman! Cody Hanvey and RJ Wilmes just missed by one match.
