Creighton Punches Their Ticket
The Creighton Bulldogs put the hurt on Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Monday night to advance to next week’s state title game in Lincoln, at Memorial Stadium at 2:45 p.m. The Bulldogs will play Burwell.
The Bulldogs’ 72-26 whooping score against EMF brings them to 12-0 on the season.
Coach Kliment quoted to the players,"This is going to be a dog fight, we have to come out with intensity. I should not have to say much more to get you guys jacked."
The Bulldog's formula all year has been tough and physical play on the football field and they did just that on Monday night.
The offensive attack is ran by cousins Brayden Zimmerer, QB, and Bryce Zimmerer, RB. Together they have rushed for nearly 4,000 rushing yards on the year, through holes created by linemen JD Kuhlman, Travis Tyler, Cameron Tyler, and Sam VanMetre.
Congratulations to the team, and best of luck at State!
