Creighton Wins 7th Straight
Creighton had an away game against the West Holt Huskies last Friday. Creighton got off to a quick start scoring on the first play on a simple outside run play. The Bulldog's defense held up the opponent's attempt at a score and again put more points on the score board with a long TD pass from Brayden Zimmerer to Sam Van Metre. The Bulldogs gave up a score, but quickly responded again with a 75 yard touchdown scamper by Brayden Zimmerer.
Again, the Bulldogs scored with a touchdown pass from Brayden Zimmerer to Conner Hammer. This trend continues throughout the first half leaving the score at halftime 42-7 in favor of the Bulldogs.
Creighton used the second half to gain experience with the young players. The Bulldogs didn't do any scoring in the second half and allowed one more touchdown in the 4th quarter. the final score was 42-15.
The Bulldogs improved to 7-0 on the year and will face the Spartans at West Boyd on Thursday who hold a 4-3 record.
