Working...
ALL ABOUT ME. . .
I am originally from Norfolk. I graduated from Northeast Community College and Wayne State College, where I received my K-8 teaching degree. I received my media endorsement from UNK.
My family and I moved to Creighton in 1995, and I have been teaching at Creighton Community Schools for nineteen years. I previously taught at a country school in Norfolk for four years. My husband, Reggie, and I have six children.
In my spare time I like to read and watch movies. My family and I love to camp, go kayaking, take ride bikes, and spend time together outdoors.
I have the best job ever! My day is divided up working with elementary, middle school, and jr. high students. This year I will be teaching Kindergarten Title Math and third through sixth grade Title Math. I also monitor 7th & 8th grade Accelerated Reading, and I supervise study halls. In addition, I am responsible for keeping the high school library up and running. I also assist elementary students with the KK93 "Hometown Happenings" radio show twice a month. I am lucky enough to see most of the kids in the entire school every day!
