The CHS Dance Team is thrilled to have Jen, Angela, and Stephanie Wortman as their coaches. Jen decided to coach dance because they needed a coach and she thought it would be fun (which it is). She is looking forward to seeing how much their hard work this summer has paid off and to watch them dance. Jen is a stay at home mother of three and aides for the Elementary. She moved around a lot when she was growing up. She went to three different high schools in Washington, Alaska, and Nebraska. During high school, Jen was involved in speech, drama, and stats. Stephanie decided to help coach dance because she thought it would be fun and her sister-in-laws decided to coach. It's a "family thing." Steph is looking forward to seeing the dance team's progress. She is a registered nurse at Dr. Laflan's clinic and a mom of four. She went to school in Plainview and was involved in cheerleading, track, volleyball, speech, drama, choir, and took football and wrestling stats. Angela decided to become a dance coach because she wanted to get more involved in the community, and she really enjoys working with the young ladies. She is looking forward to watching the girls have fun out there. Angela works at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk as an occupational therapist. She grew up in Omaha and was in gymnastics and National Honor Society. The Dance Team is also very excited about another member of their coaching staff which will be coming in February. Angela is going to have a baby. All three coaches like the "Ching-a-Ling" dance routine best, which will be performed on Homecoming. So you'll have to watch it. Its pretty sweet. They will also be dancing to Tambourine, Out of my Head, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Please Don't Stop the Music, and Blitzkreig Bop/ Back 'N' Back.
