Creighton Wrestling

Wayne Invite

The Bulldogs went to the Wayne invite on the 22nd of December. During the invite Connor Hazen, Derek Wortman, Bryce Zimmerer, and Brady Wortman got 1st. Levi Stacken recieved third place. Alec Zimmerer got 4th place. Thad Hazen, Brenden Waldow, and JD Kuhlman did not place at this meet. The team finished 3rd out of the 12 teams.

Wayne vs Creighton (Dual)

The Creighton Bulldogs recently dualed Wayne in Creighton on the 15th of December. During the dual Levi Stacken, Connor Hazen, Zac Hazen, Derek Wortman, Bryce Zimmerer, Brenden Waldow, and Brady Wortman won their matches. The final score was 41 to 42 with Wayne barely pulling off a win against Creighton. JD Kuhlman also had a JV match and won.

Westerner Invitational

The team went down to Akron Iowa for the Westerner Invitational on December 10th. Connor Hazen finished first. Zac Hazen recieved a second place medal. Thad Hazen, Levi Stacken, and Bryce Zimmerer finished third. Derek Wortman got fourth palce. Brenden Waldow and Brady Wortman finished the meet placing sixth. Brody Brooman also competed but did not place. Creighton finished 5th as a team.

Boone Central vs. Creighton (Dual)

The Creighton Wrestling team recently dualed Boone Central/Newman Grove at Boone Central on December 8th. Brady Wortman, Levi Stacken, Brody Vrooman, Connor Hazen, Zac Hazen, Thad Hazen, Derek Wortman, and Brenden Waldow all won their matches. The final score was 48 to 24 with Creighton winning the dual.

Creighton Invite

The Creighton wrestling team resently competed at their own invitational on December 3rd. Connor Hazen finished first at this invite. Zac Hazen and Bryce Zimmerer recieved second place medals. Derek Wortman, Levi Stacken, and Dylan Milne got third place. Cody Hanvey, Brady Wortman, and Brenden Waldow finished in fourth place. Tegan Mclean got injured early in the meet but still finished 6th place. The team finished fourth overall out of all the teams.

Battle Creek vs. Creighton (Dual)

Creighton dueled Battle Creek on December 1st. Battle Creek won the duel 45 to 28 over Creighton. Tegan Mclean, Brady Wortman, Connor Hazen, Cody Hanvey, Zac Hazen, and Bryce Zimmerer all won their varsity matches. JD Kuhlman also won his JV match.
