Bulldogs Come Up Short in Semi-Final Round

The Creighton Bulldog football team traveled to Beemer to take on Guardian Angel Central Catholic Monday night in the state semi-final round.  The Bulldogs came out with a 16-0 lead in the first quarter, thanks to touchdowns by Bryce Zimmere and Ryan Neumann, but ended up in a battle right till the end.  The Bluejays led at halftime by a score of 32-24.  Both teams were scoreless in the third quarter, and the score at the end of the game was 48-44.  This was a disappointing loss for the Bulldogs, however, they had a great season, ending with a record of 10-2.

Congratualtions to head coach, Gene Suhr, the coaches, the team, and to the five senior players who ended their high school football career at CHS:

Sam Morrill, Ryan Neumann, Tyler Stubben, Brady Wortman, and Kurt Wortman.
