Annual Homecoming Held

The 59th annual Homecoming Coronation was held Friday October, 14th. Liz Powell and Andrew York welcomed everyone to the gym. Next, everyone proceeded in led by the CHS Student Council. and accompanied by Zac Sorensen. Hannah Zimmerer sang To Make You Feel My Love, a rendition by Adele.

Following the procession, all of the attendants were announced starting with Rebecca Eggerling and Reid Liska, then Paige Mitteis and Justin Wilmes, after that Siara Fritz and Bronson Paul. Then they announced the king and queen candidates. Whitney Zimmerer and Logan Pierce walked first, followed by Abbey Schwindt and Cody Fitch, next, Sierra Murdock and Ryan Mitteis and finally, Alex Fuchtman and Cale Dohmen. The Crown Bearers were Averi Diedrichsen and Kyler Adams.

Holding last years title were Samantha Wetzler and Jordan Morrill. Before the crowning, the senior sport squads sent out some messages of good lucks and good jobs. Finally Alex Fuchtman and Cody Fitch were announced runner-ups and Abbey Schwindt and Ryan Mitteis were crowned king and queen. Proceeding the Coronation was the annual parade.

The night ended with the football game and dance.
