Volleyball Scrimmage

The Creighton volleyball team held their annual soap scrimmage at 5 p.m. Aug. 26. The team practiced singles, hitting lines, and then scrimmaged each other.
Abbey Schwindt, junior, said, “I think I played alright. It’s the beginning of the season so there is plenty to improve on.”
“I think the scrimmage went really well,” senior Becca Best said, adding that her goal for the season is “to work together as a team.”
At the end of the scrimmage, Coach Nilson said, “The scrimmage went well, but there are a few things we need to work on.”
The first game for the Lady Bulldogs is a varsity triangular against Osmond and Verdigre/Niobrara on Thursday, Sept. 2. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Osmond.
