2007 Christmas Program

The Creighton High School performed their Christmas program on December 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym.
The night started out with a performance by the Junior High Band. They played a piece by Michael Sweeney, Christmas Favorites, which included: Jingle Bells, Up on the House Top, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, and Jingle Bell Rock.
The Junior High Choir followed, singing two songs with Kevin Thoendel as the pianist. They sang:
"Yule Be Rockin'" by Mac Huff and "Holiday Blessings" by Eilers.
The night continued with the swing choir. They entertained the crowd with "It's Our Christmas Cheer", and "Christmas Star", which had a solo performed by Dane Harley. Kay Morrill was the pianist for this section of the night.
Later, the High School Band played "Here Comes Christmas", arranged by Carl Stommen, "The Christmas Suite", by Harold L. Walters which consisted of: "O Come, O Come Immanuel", "Ring, Christmas Bells", "What Child Is This"?, and "The Twelve Days of Christmas". They ended their performance with a piece arranged by Johnnie Vinson, "Traditional German Christmas".
The night ended with the High School Choir, who dedicated their performance to the victims and families of the WestRoads Mall shooting. With Kevin Thoendel as the pianist, they sang "Cold and Fugue Season", by E. Foncannon, "Breath of Heaven" by Emerson, "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", by Snyder, "The Chanukah Song" (We Are Light) by Huff which included a solo piece by Samantha Blair and Chris Kirstine.
It was an evening enjoyed by all.
