Creighton was the recipient of an Arts Now Grant. We would like to thank the Nebraska Department of Education, Nebraska Arts Council, and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment for this funding! The funds were used to purchase drop down mics and a new mixer to significantly enhance the sound system in our gym. Creighton’s FFA Chapter attended the 96th annual Nebraska State FFA Convention. Some students left the morning of Wednesday April 3. The rest of the qualifying students left after school that Wednesday. The chapter competed in multiple events, attended sessions, and toured some pretty awesome places. The Spring Program for the elementary and middle school students had taken place in the Creighton High school gym on April 4th, and had started at 7:00 pm and ended around 8:00 pm. The grades for the programs were Pre-K to 6th grade. The theme for the night was Music from Movies. These kids sang multiple songs and even had some interesting dance moves to go along with them. The Creighton Track Team participated in the Knox County Track meet on Tuesday, April 2nd starting at 12:00pm. They all tried their hardest, and some placed in finals! The girls had a very successful day! Olivia Kuhlman placed 7th in the girls 100 yard dash. She ran a 13.87.
